"I met Mia at a very difficult time, after just giving birth to my premature son and having to stay in the hospital alone while my husband (who could not fully use his arms) was taking care of our daughter. Like so many expats we were alone and had no support. Mia really helped us, especially me. I didn't feel so alone. She was there physcially and emotionally and also helped navigate through the Danish healthcare system. She was supportive and flexible. Buying diapers and bottles and bringing them to the hospital. Making sure I had something to eat and drink. She is someone who truly cares".
